The  April and May session of JEE Main 2021 has been postponed by NTA due to COVID-19 pandemic. As per the reports, JEE Main 2021 April and May exams could be conducted in July-August. A review meeting is expected to be conducted by the government in June after which the new JEE Main exam date 2021 will be announced. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in for JEE Main 2021 latest updates.

JEE MAIN 2021 :  FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1) In how many Sessions will the JEE (Main) 2021 be conducted?
Answer- JEE (Main)-2021 will be conducted in Four Sessions
                (February/ March/ April/ May).

2) Can candidates apply for only one session or more than one session together?Answer- Candidate has the option to apply for one Session or for more than one            session (February/March /April /May 2021) together and pay the exam fee accordingly.

 

3) Does the candidate have to fill up the separate Application Form for each session?Answer- No, the candidate has to fill up one Application Form for all sessions. If he/ she fills up now, there will be only one Application Form. If he fills up now (for a few sessions), and choses to fill up the application for the other sessions later, the same Application Form will be shown to him later on, once the Application Forms for the later sessions of (March/ April/ May) are started.

 

4) Candidates can apply for another session after declaration of result?
Answer- 
Yes, opportunities will be given to apply for the next session to be held in March/ April / May Sessions. The application window will be re-opened briefly immediately after the declaration of the result of the February / March/ April Session.


5) Whether a candidate can appear in one session or he has to appear in all the four sessions?
Answer- It is the choice of the candidate. A candidate can appear in
one or two or three or all the four Sessions.

 

6) Which score will be considered in compilation of Result and
Preparation of Merit List / Ranking ?

Answer- A candidate has a choice to appear in one/ more sessions. He/ she will be awarded an NTA score in each session based on his performance. The candidate’s best NTA Scores of all the sessions in which he/ she has appeared will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking.

 

7) Can Candidate correct/ change in his/her particulars including City of Exam
 Centre in the Online Application?

Answer- Yes, candidates may correct/ change his/her particulars including City of Exam Centre in the Online Application, when correction windows will be opened under intimation to the candidates through Public Notice for each Session.

 

8) Will Paper 2A & Paper 2B be held Four Times a year?
Answer- No. It will be held twice a year (February & May) as it includes a Drawing Test in Pen & Paper (offline) mode.

 

9) Will B. Tech/ B. Arch Scores of JEE (Main) 2021 will be used for admission
to UPSEE- 2021?

Answer- Yes, B. Tech/ B. Arch Scores of JEE (Main) 2021 will also be used for admission to B. Tech/B. Arch Courses covered under UPSEE-2021.

 

10) Will B. Tech/ B. Arch Scores of JEE (Main) 2021 be used for admission to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow?
Answer- Yes, B. Tech/ B. Arch Scores of JEE (Main) 2021 will also be used for admission to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow.

 

11) What is the age limit to appear in JEE (Main) -2021?
Answer- There is no age limit for the candidates to appear in the JEE (Main) 2021. The candidates who have passed the class 12 / equivalent examination in 2019, 2020, or appearing in 2021 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main)- 2021 examination.

 

12) How many times a candidate can appear in JEE (Advanced)-2021?

13) What is the minimum academic qualification for appearing
in JEE (Advanced) -2021?
