Mechanic

Mechanics are responsible for the upkeep and repair of a vehicle. They may specialize in one or more aspects of the car's systems, such as engine repair, bodywork, or electrical systems.

There are many different types of mechanics, each with their own specialty. A mechanic could be employed at a dealership to work on cars coming in for service or they might be employed by an auto parts store to provide repairs on an as-needed basis. The job can also be done from home by someone who specializes in engine repair through online tutorials and YouTube videos.

The role of a mechanic is to service and repair vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, scooters, and other vehicles.

Mechanics must be able to use hand tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers. They also need to be able to use power tools such as drills and grinders. Mechanics must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle they are working on.

Mechanics can work in a variety of settings including automotive repair shops , garages , auto dealerships , car washes , auto body shops , fleets
