Theatre administrators are responsible for the day-to-day operations of a theater, opera house or other performing arts facility. They may handle all aspects of managing the theater's operation from advertising to finances and everything in between. Theatre administrators may be employed by a university or college to oversee their campus' performance space; by an organization that operates multiple theaters; by one theater in a city; or by an independent arts group that puts on performances in various locations.
